Gastronics, Inc. was formed in 1997 as a manufacturer of industrial fixed gas detectors to monitor toxic and combustible gases. In 1999, Gastronics pioneered True Wireless® Gas Detection, which was the first wireless gas detection system to report gas measurements from remote locations to a central control station. Today, Gastronics True Wireless® Systems have become a household name amongst major chlorine and chemical production facilities in the USA and oil and gas facilities in the Middle East.
